Former Kaduna lawmaker and human rights activist, Shehu Sani, has said that most of the politicians who have declared for the office of the 2023 presidency are not serious about their ambition.
In a post on his verified Twitter handle, Sani claimed that most of the aspirants purchasing nomination forms are only playing games and what they just do is to erect billboards in a tiny section of one state and that’s it.
According to the President of the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria, any aspirant who has not consulted across the 36 states is not serious about his ambition.
“Most of the presidential aspirants are not serious. For the ruling party, they visit the Villa, buy form, erect billboards in Abuja and that’s it,” Sani tweeted.
“For the opposition party, they buy form, visit Minna and Ota, erect billboards in Abuja and that’s it. Any presidential aspirant who has not gone round the states is not to be taken seriously.”
Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Yemi Osinbajo, Bola Tinubu, Udom Emmanuel, Nyesom Wike, Anyim Pius Anyim, Bukola Saraki, Rochas Okorocha etc are among the aspirants vying for the post of the president in the upcoming 2023 general elections.
