Soludo Places N10 Million Bounty On Killers Of Anambra Lawmaker

Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra state has announced the reward of N10 million for anyone who has information that will lead to the arrest of the killers of the state’s lawmaker, Hon. Okechukwu Okoye.

Hon. Okechukwu Okoye, a member representing Aguata II Constituency in the State House of Assembly, and his aide, Cyril Chiegboka were kidnapped on May 15, 2022.

Unfortunately, it was learned that his freshly beheaded head was mounted at the Chisco Park in Amichi community, Anambra State on Saturday.

In a viral video that circulated online, the freshly beheaded head was seen placed in a carton by the roadside with a handwritten note placed by the side.

In a statement signed by his press secretary, Christian Aburime condoling with the kinsmen of Isuofia on Sunday, the governor said he was shocked by the news of the gruesome murder.

Soludo said that those responsible for his murder are probably the same criminal gang that attacked him and killed three policemen at Isuofia two years ago

He vowed that perpetrators of the act and all criminals in Anambra will be brought to justice.

He consequently placed a N10 million bounty for anyone or group that will avail valuable information that will lead to the immediate arrest of the perpetrators.

His statement read; “Governor Soludo has consequently placed a N10 million reward for anyone or group that will avail valuable information that will lead to the immediate arrest of the perpetrators of this dastardly act. Anambra will soon be hell for these criminals.”

He reassured Ndi Anambra of the resolve and renewed determination of the security agencies to go all out against the criminals and ensure they are brought to justice.

“Anambra will win against the forces of darkness”, Governor Soludo assured.
